What did God give to human beings for food? What does the Bible teach about diet and nutrition? How do the Biblical teachings on foods compare to scientific research on nutrition and degenerative disease like heart disease, cancer, and stroke? These and other questions are addressed in this book. Starting with God's decrees about foods at Creation, the Fall, and after the Flood, and gleaning nutrition information from the rest of the Bible, this book proposes four different possible Creationist Diets, presenting the pros and cons of each. These different possible diets are also correlated with scientific research.

Foods are divided into "God-given foods" and "not God-given foods." These lists are then compared to what foods scientific research has shown to increase or decrease the risk of heart disease, cancer, and stroke. The reader can know what foods to include in your diet and what foods to avoid. Osteoporosis and other health problems with dietary connections are also discussed, along with dietary supplements, exercise, and related issues.

This book covers a wide range of topics to help the reader begin to live a healthier lifestyle according to God's design.

A must read for every Christian who is serious about living a healthy and vigorous life that pleases God. An outstanding reminder of Gods prescription for our health as contained in His holy Word (Reviewer: Mary Koehnen from St. Paul, Minnesota United States) I am in the health and fitness industry. There are countless numbers of books about what we should and shouldn't eat. They contradict each other and are confusing. This book is different. Dr. Russell writes in a very easy to understand, logical manner on the way in which we should eat. He backs everything up by the Bible and how God intended for the people he loves to eat. This way of eating is not a "fad" diet. This is a lifesyle that dates back to the days of Genesis. This book is life changing.

Malkmus and Dye base natural healing on the premise that a diet rich in raw fruits and vegetables, and the elimination of processed "dead" foods, will result in the ultimate health. As an engineer by trade, I was critical of the basic cause and effect relationship that such a recommended diet may have. However, Malkmus and Dye have accumulated scientific test results and cataloged various studies used as supporting evidence of their theories. Having read this book and filtering through the religous overtones, may wife and I decided to implement this change to our lifestyle.

I am in month number 12 of the dietary change. My weight has reduced from 177 lbs to 156 lbs. More strength, better nightly rest, no more prostate problems, no more heart murmur, clear complexion, more relaxed in daily actions. At 44 years of age I wished that I had read this book long ago! My wife has had even better results.

I urge every person who desires to live on with ultimate hea! lth to read this book!
